My stories ranged from investigative reporting on China’s princelings, to exclusive stories on KKR raising the biggest ever private equity fund for Asia, management reshuffles at TPG, Nat Rothschild’s plans to counter the Bakrie family’s plans for Bumi Plc, and the trend of private equity taking US-listed China firms private. Liaising with intra-Asian bureaus and correspondents, as well as with correspondents in London and New York on cross-border stories. Representing the company to internal and external audiences.

Nominated for a SOPA award for breaking news in 2011-12, for breaking the news that Chinese regulators were drafting formal objections to a critical business structure (VIE) which foreign firms use to invest in China, and which is the basis of many U.S.-listed China companies, including Sina and Baidu.
